McKesson’s CoverMyMeds unit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud-native platforms that improve healthcare accessibility and patient outcomes. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and partner with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions at scale.

You will work across frontend and backend stacks, applying modern development tools and AI-assisted coding workflows to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience building production-grade applications in a collaborative team environment.
• 5+ years of frontend experience with React/TypeScript.
• 5+ years of backend experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions across frontend and backend systems.
• Lead implementation of complex features in distributed, cloud-based architectures.
• Translate product and business requirements into technical designs and plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers throughout the SDLC.
• Drive engineering best practices including testing, observability, security, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
• Identify technical risks and help teams mitigate.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term platform scalability.
• Champion continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and practices.
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
