Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Express team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will own technical designs, drive cloud-based solutions on Azure/AWS, and lead microservices with .NET 6+.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and DevOps, mentor junior engineers, and participate in SAFe ceremonies to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT/MIS/related discipline.
7+ years delivering software solutions and 4+ years in architecture/design for scalable enterprise apps.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead technical designs for new features and services, including design, development, testing and release.
Collaborate with Product Management, Agile Release Train, Architects, DevOps to select best solutions.
Investigate live system issues and address root causes; mentor junior engineers.
Attend SAFe/Agile ceremonies and assess architectural impact on security, availability, performance and scalability.
Interact with product managers/users to define system requirements and changes.
