Global Payments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Express team. This hybrid role requires visibility at Cincinnati, OH and Denver, CO with in-office days. You will lead designs, collaborate across Agile teams, and mentor others to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions.

Candidates should have 7+ years in software delivery, 4+ years in architecture, and strong experience with Kafka, Azure, AWS, .NET 6+, and Kubernetes/OpenShift to ensure high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business Admin, or related discipline.
• 7+ years delivering software solutions; 4+ years in system architecture and design for scalable enterprise apps.
• Hands-on with Kafka; proficiency in Azure cloud platforms.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical designs of new features and services from investigation to release.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, DevOps, and Agile teams across Worldpay/Global Payments.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies.
• Assess impacts of architecture on security, availability, performance and scalability.
• Define system requirements with product managers or users and implement modifications.
