Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Express team and help shape the future of global commerce. The role is hybrid, three days per week in the Cincinnati, OH and Denver, CO offices; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years delivering software solutions.
4+ years in system architecture and design for scalable enterprise apps.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and microservices.

Responsibilities

Lead technical designs for new features and services with end-to-end delivery.
Collaborate with Product Management, Agile Release Train, Architects and DevOps across teams.
Investigate live system issues and address root causes; mentor junior engineers.
Attend SAFe/Agile ceremonies; assess architectural impacts on security, availability, performance.
Define system requirements with product managers and users.
