Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Expressteam in a hybrid role, with three days on-site in Cincinnati or Denver. You will design, develop, test, and release high-quality features, collaborating with product managers and architects to drive scalable, secure cloud-based solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies, and shape architecture for availability and performance across Azure, AWS, and containerized environments, including

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, IT, MIS, or related discipline.
7+ years delivering software solutions; 4+ years architecture for scalable enterprise apps.
Hands-on with Kafka and cloud platforms; staying current with tech trends.

Responsibilities

Lead technical designs of new features and services across the SAFe/Agile process.
Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, DevOps, and teams across Worldpay.
Investigate live system issues and propose root-cause solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Design and evolve cloud-based solutions on Azure and AWS with microservices and API development.
