John Deere is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for its Urbana-Champaign, IL campus. You will join a product team, coach part-time student developers, and help translate the digital roadmap into actionable user stories.

The role requires 5+ years in large system development, experience with Java, JavaScript, React, Node, Python, cloud technologies, and NoSQL databases; onsite position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of large system development experience.
• Experience with modern tech stack: Java, JavaScript, React, Node, Python, Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud hosting and cloud provider technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a Technical Coach for Part Time Students in Deere’s Manufacturing Business Capability Area.
• Provide technical guidance to student employees to achieve their User Stories.
• Maintain relationship between Deere and UIUC to promote the John Deere Innovation Lab and grow the future talent pipeline.
• Contribute to a product team and user stories aligned with the Digital Product Roadmap.
