Job summary

DrayNow, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and lead technical projects in logistics. You will focus on EDI, API integration, and AWS-based cloud architecture to drive real-time intermodal freight solutions.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering and is based in Conshohocken, PA with a hybrid work model (onsite 3 days/week, remote 2 days/week). You will collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• 2 years of AWS architecture experience; IaC ownership (CDK or Terraform).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of logistics or supply chain systems.
• Experience in API design and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers and align with best practices.
• Design and implement cloud architecture in AWS; own cloud work end-to-end.
• Design and implement event-driven systems for real-time processing.
• Leverage logistics domain knowledge to optimize supply chain software.
• Lead EDI integration efforts with external partners.
• Architect and develop robust APIs for third-party integrations.
