Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Security Platform Engineering group. You will lead cryptographic infrastructure, manage PKI systems, and build high-availability services that secure internal and external interactions.

The role emphasizes secure, zero-trust design and collaboration across Security, Product, and Policy. You will mentor senior engineers, drive architectural decisions, and shape engineering quality practices with a focus on resilience, latency, and compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building highly available, distributed systems.
• Deep PKI and cryptography expertise, with operating certificate authorities and X.509 lifecycle管理
• Proficient in systems languages (Go, Java, C++, Rust) and comfortable in a Go-heavy environment
• Experience leading technical strategy and architecture for large projects in regulated environments
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows and quality
