Job summary

The role demands building highly available, low-latency services and mentoring senior engineers in secure practices. You will collaborate across Security, Product, and Policy, defining multi-quarter technical strategies while operating under zero-trust principles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated success building highly available, distributed systems.
• Deep PKI and cryptography expertise, operating certificate authorities, managing X.509 lifecycles, and protecting private keys with HSMs or cloud KMS.
• Proficient in Go, Java, C++, or Rust, with emphasis on a Golang-heavy environment.
• Experience operating Tier-0 infrastructure with emphasis on resilience, security, and low latency.
• Leading a team's technical strategy and architecture for large-scale projects with regulatory considerations.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and execution of critical cryptographic infrastructure.
• Define technical strategies with a multi-quarter horizon.
• Own risky and ambitious initiatives, implementing secure cryptographic protocols in a high-stakes, zero-trust environment.
