Job summary

RTX is seeking a software professional for Air C2 mission critical applications in an onsite role at Fullerton, CA. The candidate will contribute to design, implementation, testing, and maintenance within a cross-functional team and DevSecOps environment.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong Java OO design, database integration, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, and Java application development.
• Experience with databases as part of the software solution.
• Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• The Air C2 SW product teams develop Command and Control mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes along with best industry practices to meet the threats of today and tomorrow. Participate in software C2 software application design, implementation, test and maintenance. Travel up to 25%.
