Job summary

RTX is seeking a software professional for development across aerospace and defense applications. Join cross-disciplinary teams to design, test and integrate real-time embedded and application software using C++, Java, and C#. The role requires a U.S.

government-issued Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, and offers relocation eligibility within a U.S.-based framework. You will collaborate with Systems and Integration Test Engineers and participate in agile practices to deliver robust software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics or a related (STEM) discipline
• Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, C# or similar object-oriented software language
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications
• Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems
• Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system
