Job summary

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I with strong C#/.NET and API design experience to help design, implement, and maintain both internal and customer-facing applications for Blizzard Support.

You will work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to contribute to the Blizzard Support website and our customer support software used by Game Masters. The role supports remote work and emphasizes high-uptime services and secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing service-oriented architectures and APIs with high uptime requirements.
• Strong unit and integration testing practices.
• Experience with Docker containerization and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative solutions to deliver an epic support experience for Blizzard customers and Game Masters.
• Provide technical leadership across Service Technologies for backend systems development.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, producers, and partner teams throughout the development process.
• Document and share best practices with engineers across Blizzard.
• Diagnose and resolve live operations issues, including outside normal hours when needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and cross-train peers within Service Technologies.
