TeamViewer GmbH in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, C++ to contribute to our remote access, control and support platform using modern C++ standards. You will design platform-independent features for both client and services and collaborate in an agile Scrum team.

The role emphasizes high-quality code, performance optimizations, and responsible architecture decisions, with opportunities to influence product direction and learn advanced technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in object-oriented software development with C++17+ and asynchronous processing (lambdas, coroutines).
• Experience in parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, and MS-SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop platform independent functionalities for client and services using C++.
• Optimize and enhance software with new algorithms and technologies.
• Work in a Scrum development team within a CI environment.
• Ensure high quality and efficient implementation of code.
• Recommend improvements to architecture/tech to enhance reliability, maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor latest technical developments and initiate improvements.
• Advise product owners on feasibility studies and time estimates for new functionality.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, C++ to actively contribute to the development of new features for our remote access, control and support solution using the newest standards of C++. The position is an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop platform independent functionalities for our client and services using C++

• Optimize and enhance our software with new, efficient algorithms and technologies

• Work collaboratively in a Scrum development team within a continuous integration environment

• Be responsible for ensuring efficient implementation and for code of the highest quality

• Recommend and implement improvements to architecture / technologies to further enhance our systems and codebase regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, and performance

• Monitor the latest technical developments in your field and initiate improvements

• Act as an advisor towards product owners (feasibility studies and time estimates for new functionality to be implemented)

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in the field of object-oriented software development using C++ (17+, asynchronous processing (e.g. lambdas, coroutines)) and design patterns

• Experience in any of the following fields is required: parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, and MS-SQL

• Structured and analytical way of thinking / working, being a team player, as well as motivated to learn new things

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
