Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join an agile team responsible for building scalable software applications across digital channels. You will contribute to an enterprise-wide architectural view and drive technical execution using the best-suited stack, participating in all phases from ideation to delivery.

Required are 5+ years of experience with modern languages and frameworks, strong knowledge of REST/JSON, and a track record of designing robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and write engineering specifications and code adhering to standards
• Explore technical solutions and monitor performance and scalability
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies; assist sprint planning and execution
• Drive story creation with DoD and Acceptance Criteria; manage tasks in RTC/Jira
• Monitor progress against production schedule and report issues to leads
• Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers
• Perform other duties as assigned
