Slate is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and build features for our digital platform. You will own end-to-end quality, code, test, and review complex services while mentoring others.

This remote-friendly role focuses on scalable web services and APIs within a direct-to-consumer EV software stack. You will collaborate with UX and product teams to translate customer needs into robust solutions, balancing speed with long-term quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience building customer-facing software systems.
• Experience owning the design and delivery of complex features or services.
• Experience building reliable, scalable web services and APIs.
• Ability to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver complex features and services; decide technical approach.
