Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering or related field is required with 8+ years experience in this capacity
• Master’s degree with 6+ years experience in capacity is needed
• Senior Software Engineer role provides technical leadership in design, development, testing and deployment of CLIENT state-of-the-art digital platform hosted on AWS
• Lead development of backend RESTful services using Microservices architecture
• Provide mentoring and code reviews to other developers
• Demonstrate leadership on small to medium-scale projects impacting strategic priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of RESTful API web services using Microservices architecture
• Oversee and mentor other developers and perform code reviews
• Act as team leader for development and support groups; provide programming and technical leadership
• Work on complex problem identification and resolution
• Drive application development focused on delivering valuable business features
• Maintain high software quality by establishing good practices and documentation
• Lead cross-functional Agile project teams to develop new functionality and applications
