Job summary

Agency Robotics is building cloud infrastructure and software for autonomous logistics platforms in Woburn, MA. The Senior Software Engineer will design, deploy, and operate production systems on AWS and develop full-stack applications using NodeJS and TypeScript.

You will ensure secure, scalable deployments, troubleshoot complex failures, and collaborate with robotics, hardware, and product teams to keep systems reliable under pressure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Node/TypeScript experience building production applications.
• Significant hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating systems in AWS.
• Experience scaling cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and production operations.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve production incidents under time pressure.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work across the stack.
• Ability to work in-person in Woburn, MA at least 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate production systems on AWS.
• Develop full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and tools using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Support scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across software, infrastructure, networking, and databases.
• Lead recovery efforts during production incidents and outages.
