You will translate requirements into robust software solutions, develop tests, and participate in integration and verification activities across disciplines.

The role emphasizes Python testing, Ada/C maintenance, and collaboration with cross-functional engineers to meet customer needs while upholding Collins standards and processes.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in Agile development teams.
• Experience developing software requirements.
• Experience with Python testing.
• Experience with tools: DOORS, PREP, TLBD, ALM, JIRA, EA or similar.
• Experience with systems integration, test execution, and test documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Support software engineering activities in an Agile environment and translate requirements into verification strategies.
• Develop automated Python test scripts to validate functionality and performance.
• Update and maintain software products using Ada/C.
• Verify builds in lab environments and support formal verification for major deliveries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and designs.
• Present progress to Agile team members and leadership.
• Improve test development processes while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers through software tasks.
