Job summary

JPMorganChase, within Asset Management Technology, is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and deliver scalable, secure technology solutions in an agile environment. You will work on trading systems and production-grade code across multiple domains to support the firm's business objectives.

You will contribute to microservices, cloud-native deployments, and responsible AI practices while collaborating with a diverse, inclusive team to push the boundaries of financial technology.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on design, development, testing, and operational stability of systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and source control platforms (Bitbucket/GitHub).
• Cloud native experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs responsibly.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
