Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in Jersey City to join the Asset Management Technology - Trading Systems Team. You will design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way, contributing to multiple business functions across the firm.

You will develop secure production code, review peers’ work, and push for operational stability. The role emphasizes enterprise CI/CD, cloud-native practices, and responsible AI use within engineering workflows.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience with Java and/or Python in a large corporate environment.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices.
Experience with CI/CD tooling and source control platforms (Bitbucket/GitHub).
Cloud-native development experience.
Practical use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
Identify opportunities to automate remediation for stability of software applications.
Analyze large data sets to support continuous improvement of software and systems.
Develop visualizations and reporting from data to inform decisions.
