Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Alerting Platform Automation team to build automation systems, improve CI/CD, and scale testing environments for engineers and AI-assisted development.

You will work with SRE, Core Infrastructure and multiple teams to identify bottlenecks, automate environments, and ensure reliability, with a focus on fast feedback and scalable deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build automation systems to create and manage Alerting environments with fast feedback loops.
• Lead infrastructure projects and improve CI/CD and developer tooling.
• Identify reliability bottlenecks and design mitigation solutions, including load testing.
• Improve infrastructure isolation and enable automatic scaling under load.
• Collaborate with SRE, Core Infrastructure and Alerting teams to deliver solutions.
