Datadog is seeking a Senior Security Engineer focused on vulnerability management. You will scale vulnerability lifecycle across multi-cloud products, turning complex security problems into clear, actionable controls.

You’ll partner with engineering teams to address root causes, develop technical controls, and use AI/automation to drive scalable security processes. You will work across SDLC security, product security, and platform teams to balance technical constraints with business risk,

Qualifications

• Experience identifying, prioritizing, and driving remediation of vulnerabilities in large software/cloud environments.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems using Go, Python, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vulnerability lifecycle from detection to remediation and verification.
• Build AI/automation tools to scale vulnerability management workflows.
• Reduce engineering toil with automation and ownership tracking for fixes.
• Analyze recurring vulnerabilities to identify root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
• Collaborate with SDLC Security, Product Security, and engineering teams to balance risk and business impact.
