Job summary

Dropzone AI, a remote-first US company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Rapid Development Team to advance its autonomous investigation platform. You will design, build, and maintain security-focused software with Python, integrating SIEM/SOAR/EDR capabilities, and contribute to 24x7 on-call support.

You will push for rapid yet maintainable delivery, partner with customer success, and help shape technical direction in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining security-focused software products or large-scale security tooling.
• Strong development skills in Python, with the ability to produce clean, maintainable, production-grade code.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of platform capabilities and code fixes for autonomous investigations and responses.
• Evolve investigation logic to handle new security alerts balancing accuracy, performance, and maintainability.
• Review AI investigations to identify improvements and translate insights into product enhancements.
• Collaborate with GTM and customer success to prioritize features addressing defender needs.
• Drive quality through automated testing, performance monitoring, and secure coding practices.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Write investigation flows and build integrations with security tools.
