Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform for a remote US-based role. You will build and operate AI-driven systems that boost internal engineering productivity and enable safe, scalable automation.

Partner with engineering teams to develop production agents, refine retrieval and context layers (including Snowflake integration), and ensure the platform runs reliably in a fast-moving environment with strong observability and evaluation processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, owning production services end to end.
• 1+ year of experience shipping LLM-powered features or agents to production.
• Experience building retrieval systems, including embeddings and vector search.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Ruby, with comfort in a polyglot codebase.
• Experience with major cloud platforms, AWS preferred, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
• Proven track record of measuring project outcomes through evals or A/B tests.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will focus on building and operating AI-driven systems that support internal engineering productivity and safe, scalable automation. You will partner closely with engineering teams to develop production agents, improve retrieval and context capabilities, and ensure the platform performs reliably in a fast-moving environment. The work will span model usage, system observability, evaluation, and operational safeguards to help drive measurable outcomes across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $196,984 – $222,000 annually
