You will collaborate across ML, GenAI, data engineering, and platform execution in a regulated environment. Remote - US-based candidates only, compensation range disclosed.

Qualifications

For our client, we are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer, AI Studio to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will focus on building and supporting production AI capabilities that improve enterprise user experiences and operational effectiveness. You will work across machine learning, GenAI, data engineering, and platform execution to deliver reliable components at scale. The position also partners closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define quality measures and ship maintainable solutions in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,655 – $175,415 annually

Responsibilities

• Independently own defined production components within enterprise AI products
• Design and implement maintainable Python, SQL, and API components
• Apply machine learning methods including EDA and feature engineering
• Build GenAI and NLP components to enhance user experience
• Engineer data pipelines with schema validation and consistency checks
• Define evaluation metrics for model quality and user impact
• Release and support components using cloud services and CI/CD best practices

Qualifications

• Master's degree; or Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience; or Associate's degree with 6 years experience; or high school diploma with 8 years experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Demonstrated ownership of at least one production software, data, ML, GenAI, or automation component
• Strong hands‑on proficiency in Python and SQL, with testing practices
• Capability in at least one of classical ML, GenAI/RAG/agents, or MLOps/platform engineering
• Experience with advanced ML tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or related technologies
