Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build scalable AI solutions for a Pharma & Biotech leader. This remote US-based role collaborates with stakeholders to translate business needs into enterprise-ready AI systems and reusable assets.

The ideal candidate has a PhD or equivalent, 4–6 years in AI/ML roles, strong Python, AWS knowledge, and proven leadership. Competitive compensation and flexible work models are offered.

• Strong grasp of modern AI application architectures and evaluation methods.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud and secure development practices.
• Solid software engineering foundation, especially in Python.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will focus on building scalable AI solutions that move from proof-of-concept into enterprise-ready applications. The engineer will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into practical machine learning systems and reusable technical assets. This is a highly collaborative position that will help raise engineering standards, strengthen team practices, and support responsible innovation in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $156,190 – $211,315 annually
