Job summary

ASG, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and contribute to software development across the full stack, leveraging AI-native techniques to accelerate delivery of production-quality solutions. The role also involves coaching OpCo engineering teams through practical workshops and real-world examples to drive adoption of AI-native development practices.

The role requires leading high-impact build projects across ASG's portfolio, working hands-on to maintain high standards for code

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience across senior/lead roles.
• Strong fundamentals with production-quality software delivery.
• Full-stack capability across infrastructure, backend, web, mobile, databases.
• Experience using AI and agentic coding tools to speed development.
• Familiarity with SDLC tooling: AI review, static analysis, testing, CI/CD, observability.
• Curiosity to stay current with AI tooling and workflows.
• Excellent communication to train broad technical audiences.
• Experience across multiple languages and tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact build projects across ASG portfolio companies with operating companies.
• Hands-on full-stack work using AI-native practices for production-quality code.
• Serve as technical leader guiding engineering teams without direct authority.
• Train and mentor engineers on AI-native development with practical methods.
• Design and host workshops and enablement sessions for agentic coding.
• Establish repeatable patterns and playbooks scalable across teams.
• Collaborate with portfolio leadership, product, and engineering to identify AI opportunities.
