Job summary

ASG is seeking a Senior Associate, Technical Recruiting to partner with AI transformation initiatives, driving full-cycle recruitment for AI/ML and security roles across a SaaS portfolio.

You’ll collaborate with the Head of Talent, CTO, and engineering leaders to design hiring strategies, build pipelines, and deliver outcomes that accelerate product and engineering execution. This role reports to the Head of Talent.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in high-growth SaaS, technology, or VC/PE-backed environments.
• Proven success hiring software engineering, AI/ML, platform, infrastructure, or security talent at the IC and manager level.
• Strong technical fluency to credibly assess engineering talent across modern technologies and AI-native skill sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across AI/ML, platform, infrastructure, and security roles.
• Build proactive pipelines for recurring technical roles and emerging AI skills.
• Partner with CTO and engineering leaders to define hiring strategies and candidate profiles.
• Assess technical talent with rigor and distinguish AI-native builders from surface-level candidates.
• Conduct market research, compensation benchmarking, and competitive hiring analysis.
• Develop interview frameworks, scorecards, and recruiting playbooks.
• Manage relationships with recruitment partners and search firms when appropriate.
• Collaborate with portfolio leaders and executives to align hiring with ASG’s long-term growth.
