Job summary

Storable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Marine Division and build software powering marina operations, reservations, payments, and customer records. You will work across the stack with React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, and AI-enabled workflows.

You will apply strong fundamentals, write reliable code, and leverage AI tools like Codex, Copilot, and ChatGPT to move faster while ensuring security and maintainability. Collaboration with product and infrastructure teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of practical software engineering experience building and maintaining production web apps.
• Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL.
• Experience shipping software in real-world production environments where reliability and impact matter.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of a modern engineering workflow.
• Ability to review AI-generated output for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Understanding software architecture, debugging, testing, performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and products across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, and docs.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and alignment with architecture.
• Collaborate with infrastructure/ platform teams on CI/CD, AWS, deployment, monitoring.
• Reduce technical debt via refactoring and architectural improvements.
• Troubleshoot bugs and customer issues balancing speed with long-term quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, support, and other engineers to translate needs into solutions.
• Mentor engineers on traditional practices and AI-enabled workflows.
• Participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and technical design.
• Write and maintain tests to ensure system confidence.
• Evaluate new tools and AI workflows to improve productivity.
