Job summary

Storable is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for the Marine division to ensure quality across our marina software platform. You will lead test strategy, build automation, validate APIs and data, and drive quality-focused processes in an Agile environment.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for quality early in the SDLC while leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate testing and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience building or maintaining automated tests using at least one modern framework.
• Experience validating APIs, integrations, application data, and critical workflows.
• Ability to use SQL to investigate data issues and support defect analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment validation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted tools in QA workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies across manual and automated testing, API, database, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to translate requirements into validated test cases.
• Design and maintain automated tests using Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Build and maintain API automation validating service behavior and data contracts.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and improve team testing practices.
• Participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, and design reviews.
• Leverage AI tools to improve test planning, automation, and debugging.
