Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and engineering of our producer management platform. You will drive AI integration, data quality, and onboarding workflows while modernizing legacy systems toward cloud-native services on AWS.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders, and influence technical direction across teams. A strong foundation in distributed systems and API design is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering for the producer management platform, including data, licensing, appointments, and onboarding.
• Build AI capabilities into the platform and drive adoption across teams.
• Modernize legacy systems toward cloud-native services and APIs with event-driven architecture.
• Define engineering standards, improve test automation, and ensure secure development practices.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical direction across teams.
