Job summary

EY is seeking a senior software engineer with leadership to drive design, development, and delivery of AI-enabled solutions on a medium to large product team. You will take accountability for the complete lifecycle of solutions, including design, development, and maintenance, with a hands-on approach to advancing AI-forward practices.

You will collaborate across Development, Engineering and Architecture to deliver high-quality software, and will mentor teams while shaping best practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
• More than 10 years applied experience in software/platform engineering or similar roles.
• Technical knowledge and experience in delivering software/platform engineering solutions with advisory capabilities.
• CI/CD delivery using code management and automation tools such as GitHub, ADO.
• Proficiency in fine-tuning language models for NLP tasks and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Solves complex and escalated aspects of a project, coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting.
• Provides advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency and value from existing solutions and emerging technologies.
• Develops strong working relationships across Development & Engineering and Architecture teams.
• Provides a leadership role for the work group to deliver the project.
• Drives consistency to processes, standards, and architectural design.
