Ally in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, and support software powering customer and business experiences. You will own meaningful technical solutions from design through production and mentor less-experienced engineers.

This hands-on role balances near-term delivery with security, reliability, and long-term technical health, with opportunities to work across modern platforms and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Professional experience building and supporting production software in a complex environment.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with depth in at least one programming language or technology domain.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production software.
• Own features and technical solutions from design through implementation and support.
• Write and review code using traditional, automated, and AI-assisted development approaches.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, SRE, Cybersecurity, Risk, and partner engineering teams.
• Improve software quality, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
