Job summary

isolved is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC to design and own complex features in the Perform product within an AI-first development environment. You'll leverage AI-assisted tools like Claude Code, maintaining quality and security while mentoring peers.

The team operates in an AIDLC with real-time collaboration across product, UX, and QA. You will shape solutions, raise technical risks early, and translate ambiguous ideas into working software in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional web application and services development with AI-assisted development.
• Strong proficiency with C#, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server.
• Experience with CosmosDB or another NoSQL database.
• Experience with microservice architecture, pub/sub, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with Azure, Azure Pipelines, Git, and Docker.
• Solid unit and integration testing practices.
• Ability to evaluate and correct AI-generated code rather than accepting it at face value.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity in collaborative, fast-moving sessions with product and UX.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other developers.
• Eager to learn, and comfortable with tools and workflows that are still evolving.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the stack using .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and CosmosDB.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or similar) to accelerate delivery, while owning quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate in real time with product, UX, and QA through the AIDLC to define, refine, and deliver work.
• Review code, both human and AI-generated, for logic errors, edge cases, and drift from standards.
• Mentor and support other engineers in debugging, problem decomposition, and AI use.
• Build and maintain automated tests and contribute to CI/CD through Azure Pipelines.
• Investigate and resolve escalated production issues.
• Help improve team practices, standards, and workflows as our AI-first model matures.
