Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Mobile Device Management team and help design and implement scalable new solutions within the Unified IT Operations Platform. You’ll work on iOS, Android, Chrome OS and Windows backend services, coordinating with Apple and Google to shape enterprise mobility strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in Kotlin or Java software development for product applications or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience working with highly scalable software systems
• Working knowledge of breadth of OOP design principles.
• Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development using frameworks like Spring boot.
• Expert knowledge of relational Database design and development experience.
• Experience creating both client and server-side development for responsive messaging.
• Experience with RabbitMQ; familiarity with Kafka is a plus.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices, deploying on ECS and running them in AWS.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tooling is valued
• Caching systems expertise and experience with Redis is preferred.
• Solid expertise in Kotlin will make you a standout candidate.
