Job summary

NinjaOne, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Java to design and implement scalable IT Operations software, delivering features and maintaining existing functionality for millions of endpoints.

You will join a team of engineers building high-availability systems, with strong emphasis on architectural decisions, data-driven improvements, and mentoring teammates; hybrid remote options available within the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Java software development for product apps.
• 5+ years building highly scalable systems.
• Proven system design and scaling experience.
• Strong OOP and API design with RESTful services.
• Experience with Spring/Jersey frameworks.
• Relational database design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of large-scale applications with quality-first standards.
• Influence architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and set technical standards.
• Own technical initiatives and drive improvements using support data.
• Advocate for quality assurance and robust performance.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
