Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is hiring a software engineer to design, develop, and integrate identity solutions across frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features, leveraging C#, ReactJS, and cloud technologies.

Strong identity management experience and AI agent exposure are a plus. The role emphasizes in-person collaboration with office-based teams, with flexibility as needed, and offers a competitive base salary plus stock

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development on agile teams.
• At least 4+ years of cloud development or enterprise applications.
• Experience using source code management tools such as GIT, Bitbucket.
• C# expertise and ability to write C# applications with minimal guidance.
• 2+ years building modern web frontends / full-stack with ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with Identity sources: Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID, Google Directory Service; MFA, IAM.
• Experience working with AI agents.
• Strong OO design and reusable APIs.
• Understanding of PKI and encryption; TLS/HTTPS.
• Strong debugging and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer scenarios and requirements to suggest and develop innovative technical solutions for the User Directory product.
• Build and maintain integrations across identity sources (AD, LDAP, Entra ID, GDS) and other Identity Providers.
• Design, build, and own features end to end across frontend, backend, and tests for a polished UX.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and designers with minimal mentoring.
• Develop high-quality software and features end to end, including UI, backend, and test automation; adopt modern development practices.
