Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Staff-level software engineer focused on IT Automation & AI Engineering to deliver AI-first enterprise applications and automation platforms. You will drive scalable architectures, establish technical standards, and partner with Finance to modernize workflows across the company.

The role requires strong full-stack skills (TypeScript, NestJS, React) and experience with cloud-native services on GCP, plus familiarity with AI patterns such as RAG pipelines and LLM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Experience leading architectural design for complex systems.
• Experience deploying and scaling cloud-native applications on GCP.
• Experience designing AI-integrated systems (RAG, embeddings, tool/function calling).
• Strong reliability, observability, and production operations knowledge.
• Ability to influence technical direction and multiply team impact.
• Desirable: React, Node.js/NestJS, TypeScript.
• Desirable: Finance domain exposure is a plus.

• Focus on scalable architecture, strong engineering fundamentals, and practical AI applications.
