Job summary

Fieldguide is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Financial Audit team. You will own major workstreams, design AI-driven experiences for audit workflows, and collaborate with product, design, and domain experts to push the boundaries of agentic systems.

This hands-on role emphasizes writing code daily, leveraging AI tooling like Claude Code, and delivering impactful product bets for our largest customers. Based in San Francisco, you will contribute from day one and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• A strong full-stack engineer who writes code every day.
• Curious about AI and agentic systems, and already using AI coding tools in your workflow.
• Experienced leading projects and driving technical decisions with a bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agent-driven experiences for financial audit workflows.
• Own complex, end-to-end workstreams tied to onboarding our largest customers.
• Ship code from day one and ramp quickly into full ownership of significant product areas.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and financial audit SMEs to work through hard domain problems.
• Help shape technical direction and contribute to agentic systems and AI tooling best practices.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to our interview process as the team scales.
