Job summary

Fieldguide, based in San Francisco, CA, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Financial Audit team. You will design and build agent-driven experiences for financial audit workflows and own major workstreams tied to onboarding our largest customers.

This is an hands-on role where you’ll write code daily and increasingly work with AI tooling. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and financial audit SMEs to tackle hard domain problems, shape technical direction, and

Strong full-stack engineer who writes code daily.
Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Experience leading projects and driving technical decisions.

Responsibilities

Design and build agent-driven experiences for financial audit workflows, deciding where autonomy makes sense and where the auditor stays in the loop.
Own complex, end-to-end workstreams tied to onboarding our largest customers.
Ship code from day one and ramp quickly into full ownership of significant product areas.
Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and financial audit SMEs to work through hard domain problems.
Help shape technical direction and contribute to how the team thinks about agentic systems, AI tooling, and engineering best practices.
Mentor other engineers and contribute to our interview process as the team scales.
