Job summary

Virtuous is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale the CRM+ platform, enabling fundraising and donor engagement for leading nonprofits. You’ll work primarily in C# and Vue within Azure and SQL Server, partnering with product, design, and other engineers to ship customer-facing features.

You’ll help evolve our AI-first SaaS, mentor teammates, and influence architecture while delivering high-value software used by nonprofits worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep C#/.NET expertise.
• 3+ years of Vue experience; React/Angular also acceptable.
• Strong experience building and operating production systems on Azure.
• Solid SQL Server design, queries, and performance tuning.
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development using Claude Code.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the CRM+ platform using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
• Architect and operate services on Azure with scalability, reliability, and cost awareness.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape requirements with a customer-first perspective.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude Code) for prototyping, code generation, testing, and documentation.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews; mentor others.
