Job summary

Virtuous is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Raise team, building a fundraising platform for nonprofits. You will own features end-to-end, from donor-facing UIs to backend integrations, leveraging AI responsibly and focusing on correctness and long-term health.

You’ll work with C# on the backend and Vue/React/Svelte on the frontend, with a balanced frontend emphasis and strong emphasis on performance and reliability of the system.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building modern web applications in production.
• Proficiency with C# and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue/React/Svelte.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents in development workflow.
• Experience with Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong relational database understanding and tuning.
• DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD, containers, monitoring.
• Solid UI sensibility for donor-facing, polished work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end for the Raise product, from forms to analytics.
• Build agentic experiences leveraging donor data and branding.
• Design, ship backend and frontend features that drive revenue.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of systems.
• Review AI-generated code with architectural judgment.
• Collaborate with Product/Design to translate needs into tech.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Write clean, testable code across frontend and backend.
• Resolve customer bugs and support continuous delivery.
