Job summary

McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) R&D is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive design and architectural guidance for the EnterpriseRx platform. You will lead complex initiatives, mentor peers, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations in an Agile setting.

You will work with Angular, Spring Boot, SQL, Azure, Docker, and AI-assisted tooling to deliver scalable, reliable software. Some travel may be required, and a hybrid work model is available in select locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of relational databases and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across one or more teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Architect scalable solutions and drive design discussions with stakeholders.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and set engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, SREs, and Operations to deliver quality software.
