Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience; Master’s degree preferred with 4+ years.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services expertise.
• Experience with Kafka and microservices architecture.
• API-first design with OpenAPI and OAuth2 knowledge.
• Relational DBs (Oracle) and modern data platforms (Snowflake) familiarity.
• SDLC and Agile methodologies; scalable, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for software teams through the full development lifecycle and architect scalable solutions.
• Apply deep engineering expertise to solve complex challenges and refine design requirements with stakeholders.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and mentorship across teams.
• Develop and review User Stories; implement unit and integration tests.
• Remediate defects thoroughly while improving surrounding code quality.
• Drive process improvements with cross‑functional teams and embed AI in the SDLC.
• Present complex topics to business leaders and customers in Sprint Reviews.
• Learn retail pharmacy and clinical services domain to align McKesson products with customer needs.
