Job summary

McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Azure. You will work with product managers and architects to deliver scalable, secure software supporting critical pharmacy operations through an AI-native SDLC.

You will lead full-stack development, build microservices, and apply AI-assisted tooling to improve code quality, testing, and production readiness

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience.
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
Experience developing web apps using Angular, React, Vue, Next.js, or similar JS frameworks.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies like Kafka.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices following OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
Evaluate AI-generated code for security, performance, and reliability.
Develop user interfaces and admin tools to support business workflows.
Create scalable, event-driven solutions using Kafka and distributed messaging.
