Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated engineer to help build and evolve the infrastructure powering its world-class design and verification environment. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, AI-driven development, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable, automated solutions for AMD's design teams.

You will develop best practices and tooling for AI-powered developer workflows, enhance the methodology flow platform, and collaborate across design, verification, and software

Qualifications

• Strong UNIX/Linux development and scripting skills are required.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, TCL, or similar languages.
• Experience with software automation, workflow development, and build systems.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain best practices, tooling, and automation for AI-powered developer workflows and CLI harnesses.
• Enhance, support, and evolve the methodology flow platform used across AMD's design and verification teams.
• Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, reporting, and usability for engineering execution.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including cloud-based solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and methodology teams to identify optimization opportunities.
