Job summary

AMD in Colorado is seeking a highly motivated software engineer to advance the infrastructure powering semiconductor design and verification. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, AI-driven development, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable workflows for AMD's global design organization.

The role emphasizes automation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Strong UNIX/Linux development and scripting skills.
Proficiency in Python, Perl, TCL, or similar languages.
Experience with software automation, workflow development, and build systems.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions.
Experience with Git or Perforce version control.
Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with EDA tool ecosystems (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA) is a plus.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure technologies and distributed computing environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain best practices, tooling, and automation for AI-powered workflows and CLI harnesses.
Enhance, support, and evolve the methodology flow platform across AMD's design teams.
Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and usability for engineering execution.
Evaluate and integrate cloud-based solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
Collaborate with design, verification, and methodology teams to improve processes.
