Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking an engineer to build and evolve the methodology infrastructure that powers AMD's design and verification environment. You will develop automation, improve platforms, and drive AI-enabled workflows across a global team.

The role requires strong UNIX/Linux skills, experience with Python/Perl/TCL, and a track record in automation, databases, and version control. A hybrid work model is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Strong UNIX/Linux development and scripting skills.
Proficiency in Python, Perl, TCL, or similar languages.
Experience with software automation, workflow development, and build systems.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions.
Experience with Git or Perforce version control.
Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with EDA tool ecosystems (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens) is a plus.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure and distributed computing environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain best practices, tooling, and automation for AI-powered developer workflows and CLI harnesses.
Enhance and evolve the methodology flow platform used across AMD's design and verification teams.
Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and usability for efficient engineering execution.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including cloud-based solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
Collaborate with design, verification, and methodology teams to identify automation opportunities.
