Job summary

AMD in San Jose, CA seeks an innovative Design Verification Engineer to advance verification through AI and automation. You’ll collaborate with world-class teams to develop AI-driven verification strategies, RTL/Testbench generation, and intelligent debugging, delivering high-quality silicon.

You will build and deploy AI agents, use MCP servers, and create CI/CD workflows across cloud platforms, with a focus on scalable, reusable verification environments that accelerate hardware development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python and C/C++ skills; experience with Perl (OO) is a plus.
• Familiarity with hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog, UVM) and verification methodologies.
• Experience deploying tools in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) and integrating CI/CD workflows.
• Proficient in Git or Perforce and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• AI-Enhanced Verification: Develop ML/AI-driven strategies to automate specification analysis, RTL/Testbench generation, and intelligent debug cycles.
• Agentic Frameworks: Build and deploy AI Agents using MCP servers to bridge LLMs and internal engineering tools.
• Modern Dev Environment: Architect and maintain high-performance development setups with AI-native IDEs and extensions.
• Software Design: Write clean, scalable code for verification infrastructure, data mining, and internal web frameworks.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy AI-driven tools across cloud infrastructures and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
