Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a US Delivery Senior Consultant, Software Engineering Solutions, to join our GPS practice. You will help build internal tools, production pipelines, and integration components, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to deliver reliable analytics solutions.

This hybrid role requires travel up to 10% and residence near a US Delivery Center location (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or application development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Python development.
• 2+ years of experience with Git, version control, and repository-based development.
• Experience testing, debugging, and supporting production-oriented applications or utilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Hybrid Work Model: residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary or Mechanicsburg).
• Co-location up to 30% of working time at an assigned office for opportunities and training.
• Travel: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes.
• Relocation requirement: move within 12 weeks to a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance internal tools, lightweight applications, APIs, and utilities that support research, analytics, and model development workflows.
• Develop production-grade pipelines and automation to improve data processing, workflow execution, and operational handoffs.
• Create integration components that connect data pipelines, repositories, APIs, and supporting applications.
• Automate Git-based repository workflows, version control processes, testing, and developer productivity activities.
• Partner with data scientists, data engineers, and operations teams to translate workflow challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Test, troubleshoot, document, and support analytic applications and workflow utilities through deployment and operational handoff.
• Improve development standards, code quality, deployment reliability, maintainability, and overall supportability of workflow components.
